We collect only what we need to make Trendnable useful. This falls into three groups:
Information you provide
- Account details — your email address and authentication identifiers when you create an account or sign in.
- Collection & watchlist data — the items you track, log as owned, and the purchase prices you choose to record.
- Support communications — messages you send us, including any details you include in them.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — features used, screens viewed, and interactions, used to improve the app.
- Device information — device model, operating system version, app version, and a non-persistent identifier for diagnostics.
- Crash & performance data — anonymized logs that help us fix bugs.
02How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide core features — Hot Scores, directional signals, price history, watchlists, and collection tracking.
- Personalize Premium features such as action lines and price alerts tied to items you own or watch.
- Send notifications you've enabled, such as when a watched item moves.
- Maintain, secure, debug, and improve the service.
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your collection or watchlist for advertising.
03Market & eBay data
Trendnable's market intelligence is derived from publicly available marketplace data, including listing and sold-item data sourced from eBay. This market data describes collectible items and prices — it is aggregated and statistical, and is not linked to any individual buyer or seller.
Trendnable is an independent product and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by eBay Inc. or any marketplace, manufacturer, or fandom referenced in the app.
05Subscriptions & payments
Trendnable Premium is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store. Payment is handled by Apple — we never receive or store your full payment-card details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple to unlock Premium features. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
06Push notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications about price movements, watched items, and alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app. Disabling them does not affect your ability to use the rest of Trendnable.
07Data retention
We retain your account and collection data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. Aggregated market data is retained indefinitely as it does not identify you.
08Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data.
- Export your collection and watchlist data.
- Opt out of non-essential communications.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
09Security
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular review — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work hard to protect your data and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.
10Children's privacy
Trendnable is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Trendnable after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
